billy melvin - 01/01/2011 This is my first belt drive 4 stroke bike, I have one other four stroke bike, 3-two stroke bikes. I love the belt drive system it is far superior to the tranny, in my other 4-stroke. But the connecting rod cap came loose before my first tank of fuel. Which was very dissapointing Untill then this was much faster than my 2 stroke with tuned carb, pipe, boost bottle and 36 tooth sproket. I did however put a larger rear sproket on which contributed greatly to added speed. However as due to engine I must give the following rating |
Don Finch - 12/30/2010 1in a half years riding now 4stroke bike with 4 g clutch still going, replaced clutch 2 times now, and that is all, motor is solid, i have over 3 thousand miles on it. still a great buy :) |
Hector Pilar - 09/22/2010 Finding a replacement belt for this will be hard, mine lasted over 1000 miles, all other parts are easy to come by,runs great when you have it running but,I won\'t deal with this kinda motor after my experience. |
Don Finch - 08/16/2010 never had a problem with 4 stroke. with the belt drive, clutches are a lil thin. but bike carrys me great i weigh 200 pds too, after 7 months still running, and i dont ride slow. (good buy) |
Scott O'Grady - 05/17/2010 I got this kit in April and installed it without a hitch. I have been riding for over a month now and enjoying every minute of it. Put 600 miles on it so far and the only problem I've had is a snapped clutch bell. This is the only weak point in this system that I've seen so far. Luckily I had a spare clutch bell of the same dimensions that a bit beefier than the stock set-up...still riding strong!
Now if only Bicycle-Engines.com would get some more rear gas tank/rack set-ups in stock...then I would order another kit to replace my 2-stroke set-up...simple as that!
And update their Bike Gallery!!! Yes again I say...UPDATE your Bike Gallery!
Cheers,
Scotto- |
