Shipping & Returns

We offer both Federal Express and United States Postal Service ground and express shipping.  Rates are based on the weight and size of the item or items and your location.
 

• All items are shipped with mandatory insurance included in the shipping price.
   

• Most orders are processed within 24 hours of receipt of payment on a business day.
   

• All Shipping charges are calculated during the first step of checkout before your transaction is processed.  This will allow you to view the different shipping options and costs to your location before completing your transaction.
   

• Please note that some services are not available for Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii.
   

• All delivery times listed are approximate. Federal Express and the USPS do not guarantee these delivery times.
   

• If you see the amount "9,999" listed as the total shipping then that shipping option is not available for your items and/or location.  Please select another option.
   

• Max shipping weight through the web site is 75 lbs.  If you would like to purchase items weighing more than 75 lbs. please contact us at sales@bicycle-engines.com.
   

• We ship Internationally.  For residents other than Canada your only shipping option will be FedEx.  If you would like to arrange alternate shipping please contact us at sales@bicycle-engines.com.
   

• APO's / FPO's ship via USPS prioity mail only.  Customs forms are required for all APO's / FPO's greater than 16 ounces.  The customer will be responsible for any duties and fees due for their purchase.
   

• International purchases will also be subject to customs forms.  Any duties and fees will be paid by the customer.

Returns

LIABILITY
By purchasing any item from Bicycle-Engines.com, the buyer warrants that they are in compliance with their local, state, federal, and all applicable laws and are legally able to purchase these items. Bicycle-Engines.com cannot be held responsible for any non-compliance with these laws. Bicycle-Engines.com cannot be held responsible for any damage or injury to a person or property resulting from the use of any item sold by Bicycle-Engines.com. The buyer understands that they are responsible for the safe handling of motorized vehicles or any other item purchased from Bicycle-Engines.com.

RETURN POLICY
Products damaged by neglect or abuse will not be covered by our warranty.

If your product arrives damaged or defective or is found to be defective within the first 30 days of normal use, a replacement or refund will be given at the discretion of Bicycle-Engines.com.

Scooters, ATV’s, Mini Bikes or Other Electric or Motorized Vehicles
WE HAVE A NO RETURN POLICY. No refunds or exchanges will be made for these products. Should you have a defective part we will ship out free spare parts after we receive proof of your defective part. Due to the nature of these products we are unable to accept any returns. You have seven days to look over your motorized scooter or scooter kit and make sure there are no missing pieces or broken parts. 

Any parts that are returned in good working order without defect or damage within 30 days of the delivery date may be eligible for a full refund less shipping and handling, insurance, and a 15% restocking fee.


Bicycle-Engines.com will exchange or replace any defective merchandise (other than specified as exceptions under our return policy). You will be responsible for the shipping cost to return the unit to Bicycle-Engines.com. If an item is damaged in transit to you, we will contact the carrier of the parcel for a damage claim and replacement parts will be issued. Again be sure to fully inspect the shipment when it arrives, notify the driver of any damage or missing pieces and mark the invoice or inspection form accordingly. Be sure to have the driver sign this form along with your signature. Contact Bicycle-Engines.com and send a copy showing damages and pictures if possible. You are responsible for shipping both to and from your location (Items that offer free or inclusive Shipping are subject to shipping charges).

All returns must be called in or emailed in advance. Replacement parts will be issued for damaged items or manufacturer defects that fall under the 30-day time frame. Return Authorization Number is required before any replacement claim will be accepted. Simply call 406-586-5970 or send email to returns@bicycle-engines.com explaining the reason for the return. All returned merchandise must be in original carton. Missing accessories will result in a reduced credit amount by the actual replacement cost of those items. The RMA number must be clearly visible on the OUTER SHIPPING BOX, NOT THE ACTUAL PRODUCT BOX. Any packages received without a detailed description will be placed on hold until we are contacted by the buyer.
