Michael Schoellkopf - 06/22/2009 Has a plastic body which will probably be durable enough. The grips are made of a pretty hard rubber, much harder than the mountain bike grips I'm used to, but much better than the aluminum grips on some kits. At least with these I should be able to cut off the original throttle grip and put a softer one on eventually. The grip also has some play between it and the body which I cured by making a plastic washer to put between them. Also, I lubed the inside of the tube for friction free action. With these modifications it works very well. |
