Installation went well, engine started right up and runs great (still breaking it in). All in all I’m very satisfied with this purchase!

Parts kit was complete, no missing pieces or screws. Finish of the powder coat was very nice, chrome pipe looks nice. I did pop the head and cylinder off and check for proper bevels at all of the ports, all looks good. I had to clean a tiny bit of machine debris (aluminum) off of the crank case. I checked all case screws for torque, only one was loose. Assembly onto my mountain bike went well, I just had to make some straps to attach the tank, due to my top tube is oversize.
The engine started in a few revolutions, ran rich for 10 - 15 seconds, then ran fine. I have only ran a half tank of fuel, so still breaking in the top end. The engine pulled some hills in the neighborhood very well, so far so good. One star demerit due to debris in the engine and loose screw. Otherwise this kit is very well done.

After a great deal of research, I am glad I chose this engine. I was on the fence to getting a 4 stroke or a 2 stroke. Each having their own pros and cons.

Since I am new to the hobby I will warn anyone who is not technical or mechanically savvy, Take your time. I am not saying I am an expert but I feel I have enough skill to overcome any minor setbacks that may pose as a challenge to someone new.

I am not the first to say this, but the directions are much to be desired. Again, I am new to this and I would hope for clear pictures and clear instructions. I had to use some online videos to help me on a few steps (rag joint, throttle cable installation in carb, and pully tension). In house (on the sellers website) videos would be nice for installation and troubleshooting tips.

The Box showed up nicely packed, all parts where wrapped up when needed and small nuts/bolts where in different bags. I haven't had my hands on another brand engine so I can't compare quality of them. For a new person to the hobby, it feels sturdy.

Am I happy I purchased this kit? Check
Would I buy it again? Check
Should you buy it? Triple Check!

I bought another one they were so good. I bought one originally for my son but couldn't fit it on his so threw it on mine. How to mix up with the couple pieces but Molly at customer service sent it out super fast. I ended up buying another one after figured out how to put it on my sons. Anyhow we rode these things so far, very far no problems except for rookie mistakes that I made. I don't know what to do for motor bike generally but I figured it out....these things are awesome highly recommend them. This is my first buy and I won't go anywhere else but bicycle engines.com because of the customer service and the high quality that I received this first time buying. I took them out last night for a 20 plus mile ride zero problems and we hit 27 mph. That's with all stock no modifications. You took it for about 5 plus rides over 10 miles each no problems we love them. Thanks Molly and bicycleengines.com

I highly recommend the Zeda 80, I have had the BBR stage3 which you could not give me another one of those, I had a CDH motor needle bearing come apart trashed the motor 2 weeks out of warranty, and a couple from ebay and amazon, and as someone who knows these motors I must say the Zeda has more power out the box than all the other ones I had, the castings were clean, no clean up was needed, it gets better as it is breaking in, which I'm looking forward to, so I can put on the Zeda pipe, BicycleEngines.com was fast to ship my order and it was all packed nicely as well, I give Zeda and BicycleEngines.com 5 stars

I would love to know how they took a junk motor and made a race engine out of it! My old Chinese motor had Philips head screws holding the motor together, but this engine has Allen bolts, bigger engine bearings, better piston, better rod, more stroke and I swear the clutch is even better than my old one from china. These work like a champ. super strong, mad compression, quick response and it even feels lighter than the others. These guys know how to put together a motor and make a beast of an engine. Thanks bicycle-engines.com for the great firestorm 80 kit! it's been 6 months and its still going strong, no problems just put in gas and oil, and your off! I'm sooo glad I bought from you guys instead of anywhere else. I got a great engine kit, Thanks
Forever a Fan

The motorized bike was pretty fun to assemble. It was a love hate relationship because of clearance issue and getting the rear sprocket straight as well as the chain tensioner. One problem I encountered was the chain, I don’t know what went wrong but the chain broke, one of the pins came out and I don’t know why, it wasn’t even the master link part where u can take it out it was one of the ones that aren’t really supposed to come out. Now i don’t have a bike to ride because the chain, asking if i can get a replacement for it, but overall bike is super fun while it lasted.
