Magneto Magnet

The Magneto Magnet is a core ignition component used on 2-stroke motorized bicycle engines. It installs on the magneto and rotates with the crankshaft to create the magnetic field needed for spark generation.

As the magnet passes the magneto coil, it helps produce the electrical signal that is sent to the CDI, which then fires the spark plug. A worn or damaged magnet can result in a weak spark or no spark.

This part is commonly replaced when rebuilding or repairing the ignition system on a motorized bicycle engine.
